Get To Know Sue Pasquini…

Sue Pasquini Physical Therapist and Owner of ElmTree Wellness, received her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from West Chester University and Masters of Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia,PA. Upon graduating, she worked in a women’s health clinic, followed by a cancer focused hospital. She began specializing in treating women-specific conditions, including treating SI dysfunction in the maternity and post-pardum population, as well as post surgical care for breast augmentation, reconstruction, and post mastectomy procedures. Sue now works with a variety of populations and diagnoses with the same focus in finding and correcting the source of injury.

Frank Santarsiero, DPT

Frank is a physical therapist here at Elmtree Wellness and Physical Therapy. He has worked in the outpatient setting since graduating from college and enjoys all populations of patients, but he especially enjoys manual therapy. He also loves attempting to get patients back to performing activities that they enjoy.

Kristina DeMarco, DPT

Kristina has over nine years of physical therapy experience in various practice settings including outpatient orthopedics, acute rehabilitation, and subacute rehabilitation. She received her Masters of Physical Therapy from Misericorida University in 2011 and attained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Temple University in 2014.

Erin Hackett, DPT

Erin grew up in the neighboring state of New Jersey, but now resides in Tafton, PA. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Ithaca College in 2019, where she attended undergrad as well. Erin was a member of the Woman’s Swimming and Diving team where she specialized in sprint freestyles and holds a team record.

Erin has been working in outpatient physical therapy since graduation. She loves treating various ages and diagnoses. She especially has a passion for the pediatric population and sports rehabilitation.

In her free time she loves spending it with family and friends, doing water sports, traveling, and being outdoors!

Riley Schilling, DPT

Riley is from Minnesota where he grew up skiing and playing tennis. He went to Marquette University in Milwaukee Wisconsin where he received a bachelor's of science in exercise physiology and a doctorate in physical therapy. While studying at MU, he enjoyed a part-time job as a personal trainer. His favorite cases to treat include all orthopedic conditions with an emphasis on sports medicine, chronic stroke rehabilitation, and reducing fall risk. In his free time he likes to hike, ski, cook, do CrossFit, and cheer on the Vikings.

Sofia Carmody, PTA

Sofia grew up in Honesdale and graduated from Honesdale High school in 2015. She then attended Lackawanna College to pursue her 2 year degree in Physical Therapy, and graduated as a physical therapist assistant in 2017. Sofia has worked for 3 years in an outpatient setting, and enjoys treating geriatrics, and knee injuries.

Marcus Adames, PTA

Marcus is a 2019 graduate of the Lackawanna College PTA program and also has a background in sports medicine. Marcus has a passion for helping anyone who requires physical therapy and works with them in their return back to a happy and healthy life. He enjoys working with all types of patient population especially patients requiring manual therapy treatment.

While in college Marcus was a member of the Norwich University football team playing the position of Quarterback. Prior to his physical therapy journey, Marcus served honorably in the United States military where he deploying multiple times to both Iraq and Afghanistan.

Marcus grew up right down the road in good old Milford PA but now calls Scranton PA home. In his free time Marcus most enjoys spending time with his daughter Kassidy, improving his boxing skills and simply tries to enjoy all aspects of his life.

Tim Rine, PTA

Tim grew up in neighboring Honesdale and is a 2014 graduate of Lackawanna College’s Physical Therapist Assistant program. His interest in PT began when he spent several months going through physical therapy himself after sustaining serious injuries in a car accident while in high school. He credits his surgeon and, of course, his PT for his full recovery. Tim enjoys treating all kinds of varying diagnoses but has a passion for orthopedics and sports medicine. He has taken several continuing education classes and certification courses on orthopedic conditions and sports injuries. In his free time, Tim enjoys attending live music events and spending time with his family, wife, and friends.

Nicole Butler

Nicole grew up in Lake Ariel and graduated from Western Wayne High School in 2009. She went on to study Science at Penn State before taking a few years off to travel and work. Nicole is currently working on her degree in Forensic Psychology and hopes to complete her Doctorate at Montclair State University.

In her free time, Nicole enjoys hiking with her dog, attending sporting events, taking impromptu road trips, and checking items off of her bucket list. She loves making people laugh and smile and more than that, Nicole loves playing pranks and getting a good chuckle. She just started taking golf lessons and hopes to be decent enough to golf with the llama caddies at Talamore next year. Nicole's goal this winter is to learn how to snowboard and since she says she is a little clumsy, she is thankful she knows some amazing physical therapists in case things go awry!

Calina Knash

Calina is a Certified Personal Trainer and has her Corrective Exercise Specialization through National Academy of Sports Medicine. She grew up locally in Honesdale and graduated Bloomsburg University with a B.S. in Exercise Science in 2009. After college she moved to the West Coast to San Diego CA. During her time there she worked at a Chiropractic office doing Corrective Exercise. In 2019 Calina returned to the area to be closer to family and continued her career as a personal trainer. Aside from her love of fitness, in her spare time she enjoys kayaking and spending time outdoors with her husband and two golden retrievers.

Hank, Therapy Dog

Hank is a Dutch Shepard rescued from South Carolina. As a puppy, Hank was involved in an accident and had two broken legs. Sue and family adopted Hank and began his rehabilitation process. Hank is currently training to become a licensed Therapy Dog and is making great strides thanks to his success in Physical Therapy. Hank is a valued member of the ElmTree gang and enjoys meeting and greeting all our patients. In his spare time, Hank enjoys playing with his human and fur siblings, playing tug of war, eating everyone’s lunch, and reflecting on life while sitting beside the lake.
